I looked around last night for a conversion program for the video produced by my Lorex PING cameras. The file extension is .CRF, and I could not find a program that would display the video on my Mac. And that included L-Play and L-View from Lorex.
I just wanted to share that it appears that the files are raw MPEG-2 streams, so if you rename the files to .MPG and open them with VLC, they play just fine.

This didn't work for me. VLC just showed a still of the first frame.
